His limited palette of black and white results in nuanced black ink drawings that vibrate with half-hidden imagery. He is a master of combining aesthetic virtuosity with concepts of contemporary issues surrounding social justice. In his latest series, Heilig has produced live art as performance, joining with musicians to create full sensory experiences on a larger scale than ever before."
