Inspired by vintage European posters from the early 1920s up to 1950, these historical artworks heavily utilized the graphic design elements of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, utilizing bright, primary colors and bold design to grab the viewer's attention.
My remakes seek to emulate this overall aesthetic quality and composition while featuring new elements of Vermont landscapes and modern ski culture. The end result is a stunning synthesis of traditional and digital work, combining scanned images, photographs, and hand-drawn graphics on a Wacom Cintiq.
These images are more than just a nod to the past. They represent a fusion of old and new, set against the stunning backdrop of Vermont's Green Mountains. Each poster is a testament to the timelessness of classic design, reimagined for a modern audience.
